Solved computer RFI problem  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I got this to solve an RFI problem from a laptop power adapter that was interfering with the 40 meter band. I opened the core, looped the AC power cord around six times, closed the core and the problem was gone! For good measure I also installed a smaller core (31500, $4.45) on the DC cable.

The larger core has a 1" diameter hole and the smaller core a 0.5" diameter hole. I searched for similar units and found the price of these to be the best.
