Very good amp  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
This amp seems to be very solidly built, and is based on well established no-frills RF design with pleasing lack of bling in the appearance. I ordered mine with N connectors - no extra charge. works perfectly and has excellent TX and RX gain, with my Elecraft K3. I purchased directly from US, and saved $300 over the price from Australian dealer Andrews Communications. I would recommend going direct, I got very good communication and service, why pay the middleman?
It does warm up if worked, I put a cheap 80mm fan on top and then it stayed cool. The only improvements I can think of - update the manual, and provide a temperature controlled supply for a fan. But really, its great. I was going to buy a THP but they went bust. I wish I had the cash to buy some more amps from Dave.
