nice  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
The gt3 mark two has had some hardware changes ...it's not just a 5 in a different box ..receive is better and doesn't fade as quick as the uv5r .
I own the uv5r ..gt3 and F8The gt3 is the best receive out of the 3If your long winded like myself ..The gt3 also takes longer to get hot then the uv5r.
The improved antenna is a lightspot of Mark two. it is said that the 23CM High Gain Antenna allows GT-3 Mark II to transmit in 8KM
haven't prove that , but the radio didn't let me down.
