Not Recommended  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
Item Number One: There are papers published here and there on the 'Web regarding the EBS-1H needing upgrades because of design flaws.

Item Number Two: The enclosed manual does not show the usual placement in amplifier circuitry, and only alludes to colored wires in Ameritron equipment.

Item Number Three: The Ameritron technical support staff has NO CLUE as to how this device works or how it should be hooked up. They read the manual along with the caller. They do not know who designed it or have any knowledge about how it goes into a circuit.

Item Number Four: Sending a close-up picture of the circuit board to one of the people who talk about electronic bias resulted in a response that said most of the solder joints on the board in the transmitted picture appeared defective and the board looked like it needed significant rework.
