Excellent older accessories  Time owned: more than 12 months
I'm really surprised no one has done a review of these great, older items.
I love older equipment and although I have a bunch of 'state of the art' stuff, I still love the older equipment.
The Parks line of converters were mostly Nuvistor type just before the Solid State takeover. I have a bunch of all of them. I just purchased a mint 2M Cascode Nuvistor preamp and it works excellent.
I currently use a 50-1 Nuvistor converter to feed an Icom 761 to check on 6M propagation. It just works all the time. I have a large quantity of 6CW4 and 6DS4 tubes to keep them running forever.
I feel that it works as well as my ARR 6M converter even though they use different output frequencies.
The workmanship is excellent and the PS are self contained.
They are frequently available on eBay very reasonably.
