Great price but not weather resistant  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I purchased this mount because of the price. You can't beat $35, I thought, so I took a chance. Unfortunately, the old saying is true! You definitely get what I pay for!

My number one complaint is that the axis adjustment bolts and the 3/8"x24 nut rusted on me only after about a month of use. Second, the axis for turning the mount base can only be turned at 1/8th intervals. There is no in-between intervals. Third, the axis adjustments did not feel strong to me.

If you can afford it, or get one used, I HIGHLY recommend purchasing the Diamond K400-3/8C (http://www.diamondantenna.net/k400-38c.html)! This mount is constructed WAY better than the Opek mount and the base axis can be turned even the slightest of turns (not just 1/8th turns).
