Good performance, but parts missing  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I just built one of these tuners from the kit. Its matching performance is excellent. I'm using it with parallel half-wave dipoles trimmed for 10m and 20m in my attic. According to my RigExpert antenna analyzer, it provides an SWR no greater than 1.25:1 on 12m, 15m and 17m. The instructions for building the kit are very good and assume little technical background. I have only a few complaints. The kit was missing the four #10 solder lugs and the piece of copper braid provided to was too short to use (3" instead of 5"). Also, there's a problem with the instructions for calibrating the meter to display transmitter power. The instructions say that a voltage source should be connected to the banded end of diode D1, but I had to connect it to D2 to get the meter to respond.
