Impressive  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I have just attached one of these units onto a IC271H with 4w in just over 100w out. These are a commercially made unit with no frills such as preamps and pretty little LED's etc. as the IC271H is fitted with a after market Mutek receive board the receiver is very sharp so no need for a preamp. Although these are designed for FM only some work can be done by introducing bias to make them linear for SSB. Internally these shown very good quality, unlike some cheaper and unreliable brands coming out of Europe currently.
With the full 6w the amp will give 145w. This was rather a cheap secondhand purchase $90 AUD but well worth the money. The only change was I removed the SO239 sockets and replaced them with N-type sockets, otherwise a great amp.
