CMC works for me!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Was using a 1 to 1 balun at the feed point of my Zero 5 43' Vertical. to reduce band noise some, it worked better than not having one by far. Saw the MyAntennas CMC-230-5K pictured on ebay,
ordered one, The problem I was have was, the antenna got out well, still there was a lot of band noise on 160m. Had to switch to my 160-17m inverted Vee, to hear some of the weaker close in stations. Changed out the balun for
the CMC-230-5K problem solved, hear weaker signal both on the Zero 5 Vertical and the 160-17m inverted Vee. Has reduced or eleminated switching antennas on 160m most mornings for me. Operators are not asking me to go to my Vertical antenna please anymore when conditions start taking a dive when in the grayline...............kb6hrt
