Great keyer!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I've had a Smart Keyer III for a couple of years, and it has always worked flawlessly. Well made, easy to learn, and a pleasure to use. I've used several other keyers, and anything else is a step down from the Smart Keyer III.

Great keyer  Time owned: months
I've owned and used an original MSC Smart Keyer since 1988. It's been my only keyer and has worked flawlessly. Just recently I discovered Joe had made a Smart Keyer III model, but is no longer being made. Anyone out there want to sell theirs? I sure would like to get one.

A computer that sends CW  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Rather than calling the Smart Keyer a keyer with
a microprocessor, I call it a computer that sends
Morse Code.

It even has an RS-232 port for connecting to another computer.

Joe has put a lot of work into making the user
interface as easy as it can be. The keyer is so
easy to operate that you forget how sophisticated
it really is.

The command set is printed on the top panel for
handy reference, the message status leds tell you
what you need to know when loading or playing back
messages, the keypad makes command entry
effortless, and it looks good, too.

This is an outstanding Morse sending machine.

A Great Keyer  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I and two of my friends have used SmartKeyer I's for over 10 years. They have performed perfectly. I recently purchased a Smartkeyer III for my main shack. It is excellent. It is well built, looks nice, and has lots of features including volume and speed controls and the ability to program from your PC. Joe N4YG was also a pleasure to work with. I highly recomend this Keyer.

Features, features, features  Time owned: more than 12 months
I've built and bought a lot of keyers over the years but this one has to be one of my favorites. Go to the website to see the full list of features. Joe, N4YG stands behind this keyer 100%. It's always a pleasure talking to him.
