Reviews Summary for Chinese miniature brass Morse Key
Chinese miniature brass Morse Key Reviews: 2 Average rating: 4.5/5 MSRP: $50 to 100
Description: This miniature design is "rear pivot," providing for leverage
equivalent to full length of the key. Contact spacing determined by
an adjustment screw on the front yoke, and the silver contacts are
located below the adjustment screw. . Connection is via miniature
binding posts at the rear, and wiring to the lower front (hot) contact
is chased in the bottom of the brass base. A hard-plastic sub-base
provides for scratch free usage on delicate surfaces. The needle
bearings on the trunnion are fully adjustable, and lever tension is
applied by a compression spring near the middle of the lever. The
plate over the rear yoke carries a 3-digit serial number. The
mechanism is solid brass, with a natural satin finish which will
darken over time.

Base dimensions are 2-1/8" by 3/4" wide, and the total height is 1-
1/4" from table to the flat top of the knob. Its weighs 3-1/4 Ounces,
and keying force is down through the base so the little key is
surprising stable in use.

It is supplied with a machined solid brass sub-base which doubles the
weight and greatly increases stability. The sub-base measures 73x30mm
and is 8mm (1/4") thick.
Product is in production.

Small and usable.  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have had this key for a few years and recently purchased a second one for my go box. If you search ebay you can usually find it for $46 delivered. This is a quality product at a great price. I'm also using a Chinese paddle called a Uniham and I've been very pleased with it also.

Tiny, cute "spy" key!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Once this miniature key is properly adjusted, the trunions/needle bearings lubricated, and the contacts aligned, it is a very fun key to use. Well made, heavy for its size, and has a good "feel".

I also turned and attached a Navy knob skirt to the key, made of red opaque Plexi, just because I like Navy knobs.

(This key cost me $49.95 on Ebay, but I have seen them for sale at up to $100, so beware. Also, make sure it comes with the brass base too.)
