Nice and quiet  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Since I owned a TS-590S and an sp-23 speaker, I wanted to have the matching power supply to complete the line. I have been lucky enough to find one used in excellent shape. I got it mainly for the look but now I must say that the RF performance is way beyond my expectations. It must be the most well filtered switching mode PSU i've got in my ham career. For the low bands, I use an end fed half wave antenna and this setup is very sensitive to common-mode induced noise. I can honestly not see a difference in background noise compared to a battery. The new price is pretty steep but maybe you got something well engineered.
