Overpriced, but no problems  Time owned: more than 12 months
I've had my FP-1023 for ~4 years. I purchased it with my first HF radio when I didn't realize there were other less expensive options.

The FP-1023 has worked fine providing power for my 100W HF rig and my dual band 50W VHF/UHF dual band rig at my QTH for the past 4 years It is quiet, and I have not noticed any RFI from it.

I rate the FP-1023 as a 4 because it has worked well, but there are other 23A power supplies that are less expensive. FYI... I believe the FP-1023 is just a repackaged Samlex SEC-1223.

Junk  Time owned: more than 12 months
Bought it new 8+ years ago; total use maybe 20 hours sporadically.
Dead short now.
All that hard-earned cash is just wasted money.
Total junk.
Replaced the fuse and it blew again hard.
All my equipment is unplugged when not in use and never used during storms, so the FP-1023a was never stressed by lightning.
I was a new ham when I bought it; did not know about Astron then but that's where I'm going now.
