Instructive and useful  Time owned: more than 12 months
This program is instructive - you can learn about Smith charts and visualize the effects of RF components on impedances (and admittances). It is useful because you can use it to analyze RF (usually antenna) systems and then design matching networks. Last year I wanted to analyze link coupled inductors - and wanted negative inductances added. The "two Jims (JJ)" went to work and the current version now permits that. It is fun and easy to play with!
