Simply great  Time owned: more than 12 months
In 99% of all cases, PSK31 qso's always exchange the same standard info.
SIM31 is a PSK variant that is intended to do just that. Only, in a much smarter way.
It uses Structured Integrated Messages (SIM) and a new coding scheme. On top of that it uses Forward Error Correction (FEC).
The result is a fault-free, robust weak signal mode with a very high "user-comfort" level.
All information as name, QTH, locator etc, is directly and automatically put into the correct boxes and saved in an integrated log with a click of the mouse.
It even has an automatic-QSO mode which is fun to use.
For the die hard chatters, there is... a chat mode where you can type and send whatever you like, just as with PSK
For sure an underestimated mode.
Give it a try!
There's also a SIM63 mode.
