Very nice sturdy simple radio  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I own the VHF and UHF model of this radio and they are a very nice easy, simple to use 16 channel radio.

Being Part90 they make a great commercial radio and without a keypad and a ton of buttons/knobs it's perfect for non radio geeks.

The TX and RX audio is great as well as the battery life.

An added bonus is that the Anytone NSTIG-8R battery and charger are also compatible/interchangeable with the ANILE-8R.

At the time this review is being written (7/2016) the radio is not compatible with Chirp so you must use the factory programming software.
