Excellent no frills solar charge controller, no RFI!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I combined this charge controller with a Renogy 100w solar panel to charge a 35Ah deep discharge battery. I'm using this combination with a 100w HF radio as well as a 50w dual band mobile rig. Solar charge controllers, especially the cheaper PWM types, can emit a lot of RF which can be very problematic when used in an amateur radio environment. The PV7D controller uses a charge circuitry and algorithm that does not emit any RF interference. Pre-sales questions were quickly, professionally, and thoroughly answered by Flexcharge directly via telephone. I purchased mine from, a seller recommended by Flexcharge. Delivery was fast and the price was considerably lower than MSRP. Manufactured in the USA.
