Durable, takes abuse  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
This is a very durable nitinol antenna. I bend it into all kinds of shapes and it springs back to its original form. I got this to keep in the bottom of my bag on my daily commute using public transport.

Performance on 2m/70cm seems similar to the stock duck on my VX-7R. I've also had some success on 220 with it.

Base and cap are made from 3D-printed plastic. SMA connector is solid. Nitinol shaft has some kind of light rubberized plastic sheath that seems pretty durable.

The only issue that I had is that I nearly pulled off the cap when it got stuck in a crevice. I repaired it with some heat shrink tubing, which has been solid.

Overall, I'm very satisfied and would recommend this to others.
