Poor Experience with These  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I bought five of these about 10 months ago for my five dipole antennas. I liked the fact that, with an uhf double male connector (e.g. Amphenol 83877) they'd fit nicely under my Alpha Delta-C Center Insulators. Well... three of the five have gone kaput. Who would expect a balun to do that? My guess is cold solder joints. I didn't do an autopsy, but I did confirm via swapping and a lot of hard work that they were bad. I've replaced them with MFJ-915 RF Isolators which also work with the Alpha Delta-C Center Insulators. Outwardly, at least, these seem better made even though they're cheaper.
