Best Logging Software
|
Time owned: 6 to 12 months
|
I've tried several Logging programs, the most complex one or even the DOS based program, after I found this software in April 2006, I decided to use winlog32, the best, simple, ease of use, pwerful and it's free. The compatibility with export, import LOG file is vy good.
Thanks to G0CUS who dedicated this software for Ham Radio.

Excellent Program

I tried several logging programs and decided on this one 4 years ago and never looked back. I registered the software with Colin and he is "constantly" upgrading the program. Colin has an extensive web site with FAQ and his customer support is amazing. This one is a winner all around!

I have had it for quite some time. I did have some queries which Colin responded very promptly. I finally decided to get the programme registered a few months ago and received the maps. All in all I must say it is an awesome logger and incredably easy to use!

An excellent free logging program

Time owned: 3 to 6 months

It took almost 10 minutes to figure it out and then I was hooked. No more paper logs. It has many automated features like entering the date/time, 59 signal reports, call sign lookups, etc, etc! And it will run my Winkey. Did I mention it was free? Thanks to G0CUZ for such a fine program.

I think it's all been said. This has to be the BEST logbook program I have currently seen/used and am still using.
Download it and give it a try, I'm sure you'll be impressed.

I can only second GM0ONX's review of this software: easy to use, plenty of features and Colin's user support is second to none! I'd rate it 5+ if I could.

WinLog32 is at the heart of the station here I’d be lost without it. I have it connected to my FT1000MP and to the packet cluster via an old PMR set, WinPack, AGW and my computers sound card. A click on the cluster window and your on the DX frequency. LoTW, eQSL and ADIF import and export all supported. Can’t understand VE6CNU’s comments about it not being intuitive, I’ve never found it a problem to use.
Support from Colin G0CUZ is superb with regular updates and enhancements in response to user forum. Download of FULL version is free but at only £10 to register I would urge you to do so.

Great software and free too.

I started using Winlog32 about 3 months ago and I can't say enough about it. Most of the software out there people are trying to make a buck. But this free software shows the real spirit of Ham Radio operators helping othr ham radio operators. I highly recommend this software and I plan to send in some funds to register it.

Winlog32 is a general Purpose Logging Program, with award checking, Beacon Database, Callbook interface, Rig Control and manuy other features inluding QSL Label/Card Printing. It has extensive help and a online forum to ask questions. Colin M0CUZ constantly works hard to update it and is always open for suggestions for new features. It is a free download which is NOT Crippled. If you make a donation you get a set of maps. The only program I Need to keep my station log with.

Ian, G0FYD, only 7000 gso's, shame on you, suppose u will tell me that are all GOOD DX :-)
Winlog32 is excellent, here 30800+ qso's and its a breeze to use, I import adif files to VQLOG for VHF maps but think Colin has done a really good job here
