For me it's great  Time owned: more than 12 months
Whew, hard act to follow per the previous evaluation; why get so angry? eQSL is great for those Hams who can give a hoot about false achievement awards offered by other so called 'Prestigious' organizations. I don't need those phony achievement awards from the ARRL; I just like to make contact with others and rag actually enjoy the hobby then turn on the stress factors and competitive madness. To me, eQSL is a very nice courtesy contact exchange system that saves you a bundle on mailing cards or even using the bureau. Most people who use eQSL don't expect anything beyond what it is. You can off course pursue their awards but it only a slap on your own back. The true achievement in amateur radio is enjoyment in contacting other great people and learning something about each other. The competitive radio sport stress junkies who have a space on their shack walls should put up a mirror and remind themselves that you get into a hobby to relieve stress not build anger.

eQSL ROCKS  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
As a new operator i love the marriage of the internet & amateur radio (a lot different than in '79 '80 when my younger brother was into it & sparked my interest in getting licensed) I sent out 100+ postal qsls got ripped off for some dx mgrs. so i have as much respect for eQSL,HRDLOG & QRZ confirmations as i do for the postal ones !! eQSL ROCKS 73's KB3WGE Jimi

Simple, Functional  Time owned: more than 12 months
Simple and functional FREE service that works in the background. I really believe that if people want things that look good, but don't really function, then they should have them. eQSL is the 21st century. I don't plan to spend the rest of my life looking at my QSL service, just availing myself of its simple functionality. eQSL fulfills that need as few others do.

Excellent software  Time owned: more than 12 months
Very functional and interacts well with HRD. Who really cares about the graphics? Graphics take up too much memory and slow or crash the computer anyway.

BAD USER INTERFACE  Time owned: more than 12 months
This is the 21st century? The graphics and user interface is beyond words. It should get a worldwide ugly and stupid award. I can't say enough evil about it. It makes my head explode!!!

eQSL  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
eQSL is a great service. I've used it for about 11 months now and couldn't be happier with it. Most of the time I get quick returns on the eQSL cards and if I get a Bogus one I just reject it. No muss no fuss. I also like the awards that they have. I have DXCC, WAZ, WPX, WAS under my old call sign but I'm having more fun with the eQSL awards. It's all in what each individual likes.

EXCELLENT innovative IDEA but AWFUL GRAPHIC  Time owned: more than 12 months
I am OM since 2006, maybe a newbie but I have a little of experience on ham radio. I got several Transceiver and I had a lot of QSOs.
Always been on eham to read reviews but NEVER WROTE one...because i am lazy.

I'll do my first on
< from 1 to 10 >

The IDEA : 10.
The project : 2

IS IT POSSIBLE IN THE 2013 (repeat again , two thousand thirteen) to destroy a so beatiful and excellent idea: EQSL ? electronic QSL.

WHY? Awful, ugly, terrific, repulsive, offensive,
life-threatining GRAPHIC of :

- eQSL

I registred but now cancelled because i was waiting for several years a CHANGE in their graphics.

I was thinking: ok, it's the beginning, it's normal...but after 4 years... COME ON...

Enjoy using eQSL  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I enjoy using eQSL. It's very simple to use.

Create an account, create the QSL card. Upload your file and you're done.

Checkout the new QSLs that come in, with email notification if you want, and reject any that aren't accurate. I get a few bad QSLs because of my location but it's not a big deal.

I can usual tell who's bogus because I upload my logs regularly and if the reject option is there - it means I didn't already upload my QSLs and send them out.. I then check them with my log.

It takes about 10 seconds to upload your QSL file.

It's a simple alternative for many. It's free but I'd donate if you like it, I did. It's cheap. I always enjoy cards though.

I also use LOTW which is simple as well, once setup. Just a few more steps to put the CERT on the file.

I wasn't using anything for a while and a guy in CA mentioned that many are on tight budgets and everything just gets more expensive so that made me think - it was the POLITE thing to do.

Works Just Fine  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I really get a kick out of bad reviews that talk about bogus contacts-- like a postcard is actually SECURE. :) If the contact is bogus just delete (reject it).

When postage gets to be .60 cents each some of you might have a change of heart. This is the best way to send a QSL card. I also upload my log once per month to LOTW.
