Fantastic bird-squirting antenna  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
For approximately one month I had tried using another type of Arrow antenna to gain access to the amateur radio "easy" sats, AO-21, AO-50, and SO-50. Two and three times each evening, I'd try my luck over those 30 days, and I only had one confirmed contact.

I received this antenna for Christmas from my BEAUTIFUL wife, took a couple of minutes longer than the promised 2 minutes to assemble it, stepped outside at the next satellite pass, and came back in with three confirmed contacts ON MY VERY FIRST TRY! I only have the Yaesu VX-7R, and in less than one week I'm up to 15 contacts. If satellites are your bag and you have an H/T, you absolutely cannot go wrong with one of these antennas. Make sure you get the duplexer if you need it.

Works great  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I received this as a birthday gift from my wife and kids. I bought the split boom model along with the 10W duplexer. The unit arrived via UPS and was packaged very nicely. It took me about 2-5 minutes to put it together. It is made with great engineering and materials. I mounted it on my tripod and was able to easily hear and work AO-51. The antenna does just what is advertised. I have also used it to "hit" local repeaters that I could not access before.
Very nice product and thanks Arrow.

Works great  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have the version that has the split boom along with the duplexer. I have made an extension to use it on my tripod which also holds the HT. This also helps to balance the whole setup.

Excellent performance, well-made  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
This is a great way to get into satellites. Have made QSOs on AO-51 with my 5 watt HT virtually every time I've tried, with excellent signal reports. Assembles quickly, solidly made. It can easily be mounted on a tripod using pre-drilled holes in the handle. I also plan to start taking it on vacations for sat QSOs and to hit distant repeaters. This is a great product!

great for ADRF too!!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
We used the antenna for a 2m foxhunt and it would pick up weak signals where the other tape-measure antennas would not pick up any signal. Very accurate. Due to this, we were the first to find the fox in the monthly county contest. And this is my first time ADRFing!! On satellite it does as advertised. Great signal from AO-7 and ISS. Was hoping for SuitSat...but maybe SuitSat II????

Nice antenna  Time owned: more than 12 months
I agree with all previous positive comments, it really is great antenna, but I can't understand the company by not accepting foreign orders. So, I order to get one I needed to demonstrate some "inventiveness".

Great for FM satellites  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I use an Icom IC-T2H and an Alinco DJ-S40 (handhelds) along with this antenna. I have made QSOs on AO-51, AO-27, SO-50, and the ISS crossband repeater. I get good audio reports and can copy the satellites down fairly close to the horizon. I highly recommend this antenna to anyone who wants to try the satellites with a handheld radio.

As previews reviwers said, this antenna will get you hooked on the satellites. First class workmanship and very good instructions.

Curious about working ham satellites? Buy this antenna!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I've worked AO51, SO50 and AO27 with this antenna and an dual band HT. Very easy to use and great for the first time satellite operator, like me. This antenna will help you get hooked on working the ham sats. Clean and simple and very effective!

Great product and friendly too!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
This antenna is more of a magic wand. I knew nothing of satellite operation other than I wanted to give it a go. After combing the AMSAT website and downloading a couple of freeware tracking programs and picking up the Arrow II antenna I was ready to give it a try. Now the only obstacle was that AO51 was in V/S mode for the next few days. Finally the wait was over and it was scheduled for V/U mode. This antenna made my first attempt at tracking a satellite effortless.

Keep in mind I didn't have to order this antenna. I feel that I am very lucky in that I live just a couple of miles from the Arrow shop and found stopping in a very rewarding experience.

When I walked in I found that they were out of stock on this particular antenna. I am used to stores being out of stock and having to wait days and weeks for resupply. Not so on this one. Dot pieced my antenna together while Al took me on the nickel tour of the shop.

Bottom line, the only part of this experience more valuable than the antenna itself was the personal way in which they conduct their business. I just don't see how you can go wrong doing business with Arrow Antenna.
