Good Antenna  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Put the antenna up about 25 feet and seems to be working well. Assembly was very easy and straightforward. Price is a little high but I guess you have to pay for the technology.

I give it 10 stars  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
The six mtr. Hex Beam is great. use it on FM, ssb and cw. Have it up 40 feet and it does extremely well. great front to back ratio, just like advertised. Thing about buying a 10/15 mtr. to try.

Does the job!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
The HXL-6 beam does a great job on the 6 meter band on cw,ssb and fm. Has great front to back and does reject all on the side.
Antenna was easy to assemble. Have it up 40 feet with a channel master rotator. I am thinking about buying a 10 meter HEX-Beam here in the next couple of months. I think this 6 mtr. beam is the answer to haveing a great beam (all purpose on 6)

Works as advertised  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
If you have a limited antenna support structure and would like to get on 6 meters horizontally polarized, this antenna will fill your requirements. The antenna looks like and an upside-down umbrella. This 6-meter antenna went together in 15 minutes despite the poor assembly instructions. This antenna only weights 2 pounds and has a turning radius of 2.7 feet (virtually no wind load). I put the antenna on top of a 15 foot roof tower mast, height of antenna is at 40 feet. This antenna compared to a 6m vertical at 25 feet runs 10 to 12 db (using attenuator) better with skip signals. Front to back ratio is around 10 db. These gain figures match advertised specifications. Worked a lot of 6m DX and Aurora with this small antenna. NOTE: Traffie Technology support recommended that their antennas not be mounted on top of beam antennas because the Hex-Beam will see the beam below it as ground.
