Not bad for free

I have a Koss SB-30 headset and have been using it on my computer for several years. I prefer the surround the ears type of head set. I like this more then my Heil BM-5 that I use on the radios. My daughter got the Koss for free somewhere on the internet! The only problem is the covering on the ear pads is falling apart, the pads are fine, just the covering. So somedays I leave the house with black specks on my ears :) But I find that I can hear better with the Koss.

Not so comfortable

This is my first headset with boom mic which I bought specifically for contesting use. I bought it after I saw it just in a picture. They are ok but not so comfortable for extended wearing periods, such as in contest. After almost 48 hrs of wearing my ears were aching...I still use them for communications but for shorter periods of time only.
