What I dont like is the Product Tests are not critical enough, if for example a Transceiver didn't work well, you simply wont read it that directly but we all can tell if a Radio works fine or not. An Amateur Radio Periodical should be for Radio Amateurs first, not the Industry to sell their stuff.
I except from an Amateur Radio Periodical to be critical about new Regulations too, which are designed to more or less slowly but surely cut off the Rights of Radio Amateurs but this Funkamateur isn't critical about it. There are lots of Advertisings in this Periodical but the best Equipment wont help us when Regulations become more and more anti Amateurradio in Order to sell the OUR Frequencies to the electric toyz Industry.
Amateur Radio is for experimenting and handicraft, so I would like rather then to much Advertisings more construction Guidances for Antennas, Radios and more.
Those things I mentioned I miss in the "Funkamateur".

This is the best and - after the finish of the publication of the "FUNK" - only high quality radio magazine for the German speaking area. It covers a wide range of the hobby, including SWL, BC DX, QRP etc. The technical articles are on a (too) high niveau. I am a regular reader since 15 years.

The very best European Magazine

Funkamateur is one of the very few high level, quality ham radio magazine in Europe. Advanced projects and advanced articles for the well educated radio amateur. Some articles are at an academic level. You really learn something from their articles. You learn German too! Highly recommended!
