Super AC & phone line protection and UPS

I bought the Regulator Pro 525VA over two years ago after "loosing" several diodes and capictors in my TenTec Power supply TWICE due to transient AC line surges(not storm related). This UPS has an AC line conditioner as well, so the rig (or power supply) will always see a pure AC sine wave. This model can power my 100W transciever (now an ICOM 756) , computer, and Ameritron RCS 4 remote coax switch at the same time. The battery back up is great for those brief power outages and gives you plently of time to shut things down (I believe this model has a 7amp-hour battery in it). It also protects the phone line from voltage spikes/surges.
I have not had a problem now in over two years.
You can find these for around $100 at computer supply stores on online and I highly recommend this UPS or the 625VA model to protect your ham or computer equipment.
