FT-77S = FT-77 minus  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
A separate review for a FT-77S is actually not necessary because it is a little brother of a FT-77. The only difference is the lower 10W output. So read the review of FT-77 elsewhere on eHAM. Incidentally, a Sommerkamp FT-77S is a Yaesu FT-77 with a different sticker on the front plate.
If final transistors of a FT-77S are blown,they can be replaced with 2SC1945 see
