Description: A head unit (car stereo) that receives shortwave! Basically the same as the Sony XR-CA620X minus the CD/MD changer port and built-in casette deck.

This unit is not available from American retailers at this time. This IS currently available from www.jackys.com (an electronics retailer in the UAE) for $110.70 + S&H (as of Aug. 14, 2001).

Great reception even with factory car antenna!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
Basically the same as the XR-CA620X, except this one doesn't have the MD/CD changer port or casette deck. Personally, I'd get the other one, but if all you want from these two models is the ability to receive SW in your car, this is the one.
