Easy to assemble and well made trap dipole antenna
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months
|
Balun, Traps, Wire and water-proof tape (for coax connection) and rope are all supplied in the package.
Antenna assembly following the supplied instructions is straight-forward and took approximately 1.5 hours to complete. Allow about 0.5 hours for tuning of the antenna.
Quality of traps is good. Overall length from tip-to-tip is ~12 meters.
Small complaint is that the terminal to wire crimps are not soldered. It would be good if they were crimped and soldered.
Paid 8,500 YEN for mine in a local radio store in Japan.
