really works! easy to install

Time owned: 0 to 3 months

this device is well made in the usa, installs in 5 minutes. you work on the breaker side of the power panel so no direct contact to high voltage.
this unit is the answer to those of you using a 220 line and a new linear with sensitive circuits like microprocessors. We all seem to have neglected protecting them! Well this filter provides that protection. In fact, it seems to help reduce ac line noise from going beyond the breaker panel.
Now if you are afraid to or can't access your breaker panel they make units dedicated to a single 220 circuit. model 338,477,478. give the guys at I.C.E. a call 1-800-423-2666 they will talk tech over the phone, have a great catalog and tech reports.
I use their 300 series for lightning protection and rotator protection too.
they do not have their website running [as of Aug 29, 2001]
the full company name is:
Industrial Communications Engineers ltd.
