Tight fit

There isn't much choice if you really need a tough bag for portable use. The only downside is the zips catch the front corners of the K2 when zipping the cover and could lead to paintwork damage.
The side pocket can take a Palm Mini-Paddle with the lead going in the front pocket. A light pair of headphones will fit the front pocket and there is just enough room in the bottom cover/pocket to take a lightweight 20m dipole.
While Mountain-Ops might describe it as being "Water resistant", that really shouldn't be taken too seriously as the zips will leak water and the front pocket is attached over an open mesh with nothing more water tight than Velcro. The case will provide quite a lot of protection against knocks and bumps, and that's important for those of us who take their K2 outside!

This is a excellent option for your K2 for those "field trips". The K2 fits like a glove and the pack allows access from the front and the rear thru two zippered doors. Nice dual-traveler YKK zippers, too. Comes with a shoulder strap and a built in carrying handle. The front door folds under the unit so it acts as a tilt stand when open. I use the removable storage pouch on the top for cables. I have two of these, one for my K2 and the other for an EC2 (optional enclosure from elecraft, same size as the K2) console that I built. Very nice option to keep your K2 a little safer and not add a lot of extra weight to carry. The pic is a orange one but they come in Black (yes!) and I think Cammy is available by special order. Rugged, excellent construction using high quality material. I give it a 5, its got a great beat and easy to dance to.
