ABSOLUTELY THE BEST  Time owned: more than 12 months
I don't usually bother writing a review. But the service Scott provides is just outstanding in every respect. If you have an ICOM radio that needs some help, you cannot go wrong sending it to Scott for repairs. I've used MTS three times now and every time I've been completely satisfied with every aspect of the job. He's great at diagnosing the problem, he's efficient in terms of turn-around and cost, he's exceptionally responsive to emails and is willing to answer questions. Scott just provides exceptional service and exceptional value.

Outstanding Service!!  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I sent Scott an IC-718 that was a hamfest special. Apparently, someone (NOT me :>)) had done several mods to this rig. Scott figured out what was done & returned everything to it's original configuration. The rig now works perfectly! The price for the repair was more than fair. MTS is a first class service facility!

THE BEST!!!!!!  Time owned: more than 12 months
What can I say that has not already been said? Scott did a wonderful repair of my IC 736 and was VERY resonable also! In addition to that, he helped me with an issue I had with my IC 751A! In today's world, it is so rare to find someone in the repair business that is willing to help a fellow ham the way Scott does. You will NOT go wrong in sending your rig to him for repair! I will certainly be using him for any repair problems in the future.
THANK YOU Scott!

Thumbs up for Scott on my PS-30  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I purchased a lightning damaged Icom PS-30 and after troubleshooting myself, I called Scott. He took considerable time on the phone to help me track down the most common problems that I could address myself; testing and changing components. I finally sent it in and he found the fault, much more serious, and it turned out the repair was not economical. I offered to donate the unit, and he accepted it for time spent. I appreciate all his free help and flexibility in working with the customer. Thanks Scott. Bob

Shazam! Scott is the Man!  Time owned: more than 12 months
I sent my IC-471H to MTS to get it updated and tweaked/aligned. Scott emailed me as soon as he started working on it to let me know what was going on which I really appreciated.

His email support after I got the rig back was also a great help - I'm embarrassed to say I had a bad piece of coax that was causing me grief on my end - Turns out the 471H folds back the power to 4 watts at a SWR of 1.5:1, which was exactly what happened. The manual doesn't mention this little important fact. Swapped out the coax and now back at full power. Thanks Scott!

Give him your business!  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
What can I say. This is a true class act. The putrid Icom support team can learn alot from this man. He assisted me in repairing my Icom 746 with the IC-151 and 2SC1972 driver problem. I purchased the parts from him, and he helped me greatly. I was able to successfully repair my rig. Never a blink from him.

If you need parts, buy from him.

If you need repair, send him your rig.

He gets my business  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
I sent an Icom IC-251A that needed repair to Scott. Not only did he do a super job finding the fault in the receiver, but he also took the time to align the TX and RX, and even clean the front panel. It looks mint right out of the box. Even though the round trip postage was something like $95, his fee of $50 or so for the repair was well worth it. The radio hears super well compared to before, and his alignment makes it a super kick-butt radio. Makes it a real joy to come home from work and give the radio a QSO or two.

I recommended him to a buddy who needed an old radio fixed up, and he seemed to have done a gang-buster job on that one too.

Excellent Service  Time owned: more than 12 months
Did a really great job of resurrecting my IC-746pro after a near lightening strike. Had to replace driver and finals but its been working great ever since. Worked hard to keep parts costs to a minimum. Quick turnaround. Even helped me later via email in making a minor repair to CI-V interface! My only disappointment was that I shipped my radio to MTS doubleboxed with the inner box being the original Icom box with styrofoam packing, but got the radio back in a plain box without a great deal of packing material (but the radio had no damage). I like to keep the original boxes for transporting my radios to field day, moving, etc.
