9-element 2-meter yagi.  Time owned: more than 12 months
i have his older available 9 element 2 meter yagi

what a nice antenna

as with all his antennas they are supper (i do mean super) easy to put together and install

i understand now with his dual polarity beams (all his beams but upgraded to use of square tubed boom) he has gone to square tubed to make it easier to aline elements on dual polarity beams

as always i am wihout doubt that this will not in the slightest deminish but enhance the lifespan and quality of his beams

anyways my 9 element 2 meter beam has been working great for years

it is a set it and forget it type of beam indeed
i dislike going to the roof to do antenna work
i have a issue with being on roofs( lol )

Can not be beat  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I bought on of these 7 element 2 meter antennas 9 months ago intending to get up asap. Well 9 months later I finaly got it up. Wow I can work simplex stations and repeters in Honolulu 140+ miles away with out any problems w 50 watts. Today I worked a station in Waimea here on the Big Island from my house there is a ridge at 4000ft between but we made it anyway. These antennas are very well built and vswr is 144mhz 1.3:1, 145 1.2:1, 146 1.1:1, 147 <1.1:1 Get one you will thank yourself.

Follow-up to old review  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
Since the original review was written in October, 2001, based on an antenna purchased in the Summer of 2001, Gulf Alpha has gone to great lengths to correct the deficiencies noted during assembly. The antenna now represents a viable, cost-effective alternative to the products of other manufacturers and is recommended without reservation.
