Reviews Summary for Videolynx 434 ( 70cm Micro video ATV transmitter)
Videolynx 434 ( 70cm Micro video ATV transmitter) Reviews: 2 Average rating: 4.5/5 MSRP: $99.00 Visa/Mastercard Secure On-
Description: The VideoLyn 434 is the real pioneer in high performance micro ATV transmitters. Use your cable ready TV on CH59 to receive the 434 signal. Perfect for RC models, aircraft, hatcams, short range video links, balloons, blimps, etc. When coupled with high gain antennas, the 434's DX performance is truly impressive. For example, with two 8 dbi gain dipoles, such as the P.C. Electronics OAL 5L-70cm yagi or the Cubex 7L70CM-001, the range can be in excess of 4 miles. Excellent reviews: See QST July 2001.

Not bad.  Time owned: more than 12 months
This unit transmits good quality video, consumes little power and has always played nice with any composite video source I've put into it. On the other hand, it has no reverse polarity protection built in, and will quickly destroy itself if you goof up. It's completely potted in epoxy, non-serviceable and $99 to replace.

Very Good Product  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
This transmitter is of very good quality (since in it not made by MFJ..hihi) I used it with a vertical rubber ducky and it gets very good coverage with an ICOM R3. No tuning necessary, just plug it in, and it works GREAT!
