a lot of scanner in a small package.

This one can really be my all purpose receiver. Because of the small, light package and wide range, it's always in my pocket. I disagree about the selectivity and sensitivity though. But I figure there has to be a trade-off. I haven't tried the PC interface because I can't bring my self to pay $35 for the cable.

IT'S OK

NICE LOOKING, GOOD SOUNDING RADIO,
BUT A LITTLE HARD TO PROGRAM, AND SET UP.
THE DJ-X2 IS A MUCH BETTER RADIO.

Good value for money

Good pocket scanner for very low price.
Its great with the alinco clone utility and homebuild PC interface.

Very good, however the DJ-X2 is still that much better..

As mentioned, it is very good, however the DJ-X2 out performs the DJ-X3..
Some will not agree, but it is my opinion..

I do love the size and the features, itīs a born performer, especially the possibility to use the earphonecable as an antenna make this RX a wonderful tool for "concealed carry" in some places...good reception and selectivity makes this my best scannerchoice ever!
