Nice Software for the FT-847  Time owned: more than 12 months
If you are familiar with the operation of the FT-847 you'll love the RATS-847!

Look at the screen and there is your rig, just as though you were sitting in front of it. A nice thing about this software is that the controls react just like the FT-847. As and example, if you want to tune the VFO just rotate the main VFO knob like you would on the rig. No sliders to slide just regular controls.

Mark gives top notch support and is quick to respond to questions and suggestions. I don't thinkg you'll be disappointed with RATS-847

Great looking software that functions like the radio  Time owned: more than 12 months
Since no one on here has used this software I guess I'll write my own review. If you have experience with this software then please let me know what you think about the software by providing me some feed back here.

The RATS FT-847 software is design to control the Yaesu FT-847 transceiver. It has a great looking interface that is very similar to the look of the actual radio. It also functions very much like the radio, so that the learning curve is greatly reduced. It displays tuning knobs, buttons, frequency readouts, signal meter, band scope, and many other functional controls. You can find more information about this product at Oh, and there is a free fully functional trial copy of the software available for downloading, so please check it out and let me know what you think. 73
