JRC JST-135 Terrific  Time owned: 0 to 3 months
This transceiver is just too good to pass up. The receiver is hot very hot and does not suffer from frontend overload. Stock receiver has three AM filters and a intermediate filter for LSB and USB. The CW filter is wide but with use of the Pass Band filter and notch, CW come in nice and sharp. You could buy an optional filter but so far i haven't had the need to. If you can find one buy it. Boards are card type making access very smart plus 150W PEP. Modes AM,FM,LSB,USB,CW,AFSK. A great rig that performs. Truly underated!

Very Good Radio!!  Time owned: more than 12 months
Ok guy's i'll be up front and tell you all i'm not a tech type of operator but the 3 yr's i've owned my bare bone's ( no xtra filters) 135 i have recieved nothing but excellent audio report's and the reciever still amazes me with it's sensitivity.I bought this radio used and have never regretted buying it.It is a well constructed radio with general coverage and is capable of being operated as twin recvr and transmitter with the adapter kit and it's twin reciever the JRC 525 .Would reccomend if one want's a 150 pep rig that is a solid radio and inexspensive used radio usually around 500-700 dollar price range to give it serious consideration.
