No Ham should be without one if you use an amplifier.  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I have used Larry's Tuning Pulser for about a year with my Ameritron AL-80A. It's great.

A great little addition to my shack!  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
The best 40 bucks I've spent in years.. This pulser lets you tune that high dollar, high power amp at very low current levels. No strain and no heat to age your tubes. As good an investment as you can make! As the ad say's "SAVE THE TUBES". Plus when I had a question about the product I was able to talk to the guy who designed it! And I might add, got a very easy to understand answer. The same day. I highly recommend.
