I INCORRECTLY ENTERED THE MSRP AS 139.00. THE MSRP IS ACTUALLY LISTED AS $165.00

I purchased this unit through Gigaparts for $139.00. I decided to try his unit despite the fact there was no listing for the product here on eHam with reviews. So I added this SS330W from daiwa today to the Power Supply category here.

After reading the mixed reviews on the MFJ 4225, I felt that the lower price of the Daiwa and the greater amp rating gave Daiwa the edge. Although this unit was advertised with a lighted meter display, it does NOT have a lighted meter. No big deal really since I don't usually sit in the dark operating equipment and the fact the gauges have a white background with a black needle and blue/red colored graph. As I listed in the description above, the voltage is adjustable from 5-15 volts and has a continous output current of 30 amps which is more than MFJ, I believe. The unit comes with a built-in cooling fan which I can't hear even with the room in absolute quiet. It also has a top mounted carry strap and comes with a 110 grounded AC power cord. The unit itself is super light and is 9.5" long, 5" wide and stands 4" tall (4.5" including top strap mounts). Power on/off switch is on front along with the DC output mounts/plugs and voltage adjustment knob. Despite the light weight, the unit does not move when pushing the power switch on or off. And finally, there are two lights on the front. One for AC power indication and the other for protected mode.

I have had this unit now for 5 days and it works well so far. It gets a 5 out of 5 from me.
