Poor quality reprint
|
Time owned: 0 to 3 months
|
I ordered the "Factory Re-print" Service Manual for the IC-745 from ICOM parts. When the manual arrived, everything looked fine until I opened it.
1) Pages were missing areas of print.
2) Some print was so light that it's almost un-readable.
3) Schematics that have the binding holes cutting out parts of the drawing.
4) Lines going off schematic pages to who knows where
I called ICOM parts and they did refund my money and told me to keep the manual. They did say that they would speak to their supplier about the quality of the re-prints.
