Solid & powerful  Time owned: more than 12 months
Easy broad response tuning with verniers on tune and load capacitors; Amplifier is stable with no arcing or zaps during tuning or operation; Very quiet fans in amplifier and power supply; Powerful - easily produces 2KW PEP on SSB and loafs along at 1 KW CW (Also rated for 800W RTTY); I use this amp on CW mostly powered on a 120VAC circuit.

Built as a Tank  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
I just love this amp. simple to work on and rugged. tunes well. and very forgiving. 3-500z tubes are great as a pair. Swan really made a well built amp.
