I recently added a Pro-2052 to my scanner collection, and it's a pretty good radio. Here's the basic rundown.
The GOOD:
1000 channels in 20 banks fo 50.
Basic TrunkTracking.
Senistivity and selectivity with stock antenna.
Scan and search speed.
Price on the used market around $150.
The BAD:
No text tags.
No CTCSS.
No Trunking and conventional scanning at the same time.
Some intermod when hooked up to an external antenna.
No Antenuator.
Current RS price is $300.

the pro 2052 is worth the price if you need a 1000 channel base

the pro 2052 is a good scanner but you need to be guessing the frequecys because of the non- text display.the pro 2052 feel does not feel at all the price its worth it feel like a $300 hunk of plastic.its missing the decoding that the 2067 and pro 92 had butit has the same weather numeric weather display.i would say to tr different scanner before this but if you need alot of channels its the way to go.
