good, serviceable  Time owned: more than 12 months
I have had this tuner for several years. Purchased from Ebay. I found defect in that the coil mounting tabs were not soldered to the coil, causing intermittent tuning. Fixed this, no problems since.
Handles my 100 watt output rigs with no problems.
Very nice tuner for many uses, end fed, balanced line and coax line.

good hamfest find  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
Purchased at a hamfest for $50, in like-new shape with manual. Officially rated at 50W, it will handle the 100W output of my IC-718 with no problem on 80-10, and about 50W on 160. (100 pf capacitors paralleling the variables, factory supplied). I believe the conservative rating is due to the single core 4:1 balun, as the capacitor plate spacing is similar to what MFJ uses on their 200W models. Can be re-configured as a pi-net, or L-net with series variable, which makes it handy for single wire tuning. Plenty of space inside for additional shunt C. A very handsome unit, phsically small and light. Ideal for field day or back-packing with QRP-type equipment. A matching watt-meter with 0-5 and 0-50W scales is available but becoming scarce.
