absolutely great  Time owned: 6 to 12 months
built the 1A model and added toggle switch for 1a or 1/2 A rate.
also added external 0-3amp analog meter to view charging. used on 3ah gelcells for qrp
plus two 25 ah rechargables for 2meters and qrp, just great.

I travel all over the world on business. My car sits in the garage with a A&A charger connected. It's never failed to start even after one year. I've had the charger for 5 years

A great product and a valuable shack accessory.  Time owned: more than 12 months
My transceiver runs off of a 45 amp hour Diehard wheelchair battery, and this little charger keeps it topped up and ready for use at all times. I have the 1 Amp version, and it contributes that amount of current to the load when the rig is on. A 5 Amp version is available if you have larger batteries or want more current capacity. The design was originally published in QST, and has proved itself over time.
