I've used one of these mikes on a Yaesu FT 301D for over 10 years and have always gotten comments on the excellent smooth audio it produces. Not too bad for a 10 dollar hamfest buy!

This microphone was original built for dispatching and communications systems. I used it many times and always get outstanding reports from hams that know my voice. It provides a strong audio and you can speak very close to it without problems. I used it with IC-756Pro and the W2IHY equalizer. The match is very close to perfection.
