Excellent Choice For Long Range Work
Time owned: 3 to 6 months

The 5054 is about 15ft. long w/ 2 sections (STRICTLY 6 METERS). Tunes like the A-99 with the tuning rings. Even though it is very narrow banded, it works like a dream on 6 meter Side-Band. I would say it is a better side-band antenna then fm. No radials and as far as I know there is no known radial kit for the antenna YET. The 5054 has a very large radiation pattern upward due to the fact there are no radials. Great for working long range. Is not the best antenna for talking in a local area (but it still works somewhat in the general area you might be in, not the greatest though). Looks somewhat like the A-99 but just dosen't have the middle section. Fits mostly anywhere. Average Price: $90-$100. 73's and have fun on the magic band of 6 Meters!
