A good kit

This kit was the first kit I ever built. I remember the instructions to be a bit confusing, but I did it at the end. For the price you cant beat it. The materials used are very nice and strong, especially the case. Nice addition to my shack.

Well worth having in your shack!

This thing is best for long and random wire antenna's. However, I use it because of my apartment setting with my Hustler 5BTV. Sence useing it, I've never had a problem with RFI or RF ground returns in my shack. It simply tunes them out and gives the RF a tuned/easy path to ground. The hardest part in bulding the kit is winding the silver clad wire with enough tension around the toroid. To make things easier, TenTec gives you a plastic clamshell winding form for the large toroid.
In summary, it works great with ANY ATU including my MFJ-969 and LDG AT-11MP.
