Shouldn't Have Sold It...
Time owned: more than 12 months

I bought one in the early to mid eighties as a teenager new to ham radio. I remember it well, as it never failed and seemed to be accurate. It was a mistake to sell it a few years later. Oh well...

Cross Needle ?
Time owned: more than 12 months
Owned this cross needle SWR/Power meter for the last 15 years or so. Sold it recently for the dollars to get back into ham radio. I brought it new all those years ago because it covered HF (1.8 MHZ) to 2 meters (150 MHz), 20W to 1KW in power. It was one of the few around at the time that did this, most were either HF, VHF, and UHF; all separate units and hugely expensive. I cannot recall the original price, but think I paid around NZD$ 220.00 or so. It worked well over the years and was still in top shape when I sold it. Buyer had the VHF/UHF version, and wanted this to complete the pair, to cover from 1.8 to 512 MHz.
Great piece of kit, and worked well even after all those years!!!
