I LOVE my 2800!!!  Time owned: more than 12 months
What a great radio! It has great selectivity, copious amounts of memory and THAT SCREEN! It easilly supplies ALL of the information one needs to operate either 2 mettters of the 440 band! Thank you, Icom, for such a great radio. I also own an Icom IC-7000 and I'm glad to see that the color screen idea has been carried on!

Hi there
I have read a lot of comments to the ic2800h, and I'm planning to buy one.
Is there anyone who can mail me the cloning software? It would be very nice. The diagram of the cable I allready have.
Excuse me for bad english, I am from the Netherlands :-) pd1abu@grupstra.nl

Icom Ic 28000h vhf/uhf mobile  Time owned: 3 to 6 months
I have had the radio now for the last 6 months and my friend had it from new.
It has been no problem what so ever
Very easy to use!!
This is one of the best radio`s I have had, it will take some beating. Four power outputs 50/35
20/20 10/10 5/5
Exerlent for homebase or mobile
The only thing that I think it is lacking is the front pannel can not be attached to the front for home use but that is neither here or there.
I just made a bracket to hold the pannel.
Tx & Rx has been opend up! Rx is very good on all bands.
I would be interested if anyone has had any problems ???
