Incredible

While working on a radio I realized I needed some surface mount fuses of a size I didn't have in stock. I went online to Mouser and filled out an order for them. The Confirm Order button was pushed at 7:58PM, 2 minutes before their deadline for same day shipping. A few minutes later I received e-mail confirmation of my order. At 8:55PM I received notification that it had shipped. At 4:18PM the next day the brown truck dropped off my package.
Absolutely incredible. I will admit I only live 60 miles from them but to receive, process, and ship an order that fast!!!!

Shipping label

Over the years I've been very pleased with Mouser. Recently, an order
had a bad shipping label(just my name and city). I just happened to catch it with the USPS track&confirm and went to the local P.O. and picked it up. I informed Mouser about this and was assured that this
would be fixed. Nope. Same thing happened on my next order. Was assured again that this would be fixed and they gave me credit for my
trouble. Well, the same thing happened again on my next order, but this time I'll let it be returned. Three strikes and you are out in my book. I will be trying digikey next.

I've been dealing with them for years, great outfit. I really like the project manager feature. It's really easy to build up a "shopping list" that I can add to as I go. When I get money ahead I just use the "order project" feature and the order is here in 2-3 days.

Good - But Shipping Slipping

I have been ordering parts from Mouser for the last 6 years. Most times, the parts were shipped via USPS Priority Mail on the same day that the order was placed.
However, in the last year or so, there have been one day shipping delays which can be very annoying.
The Mouser staff is always kind and responsive, always refunding the shipping charges. Hopefully, Mouser will be able to correct this 'glitch'.

As the previous reviewer said, no minimum, super fast service at reasonable prices, I can depend on Mouser for the parts I need at a good price. I use them all the time!!

Three things. No minimum, no minimum, no minimum! Shipping is very reasonable. I screwed up a couple things on orders. When I called them to correct, they said the order had shipped, but would send the corrected parts at no charge! Shipping is immediate.

It just doesn't get any better than these folks.
As a comparison, I recently placed an order with MATelectronics. I waited a week and heard nothing. When I called, I was told that some of the caps I ordered were not stocked anymore. Huh?
What about the rest? Why didn't they tell me? Plus, they have a $25 minimum order.
That's not really a big deal, since I use a LOT of caps and am constantly replacing my supply.
Enter Mouser. What a selection!! The website tells you how many they have in stock of each item, no minimum and instant confirmation of your order via e-mail. Prices are also excellent, and deeply discounted further when you buy in quantity.
I can't imagine anyone else will be getting my cap orders!

Couldn't be better !!

Today , 12 Feb, 2009, I found that one of the parts that was ordered arrived in three pieces instead of one. A power w/w resistor. I emailed the info and received a reply within 10 minutes stating that the replacement part would be sent next day air (!!) and will have it tomorrow. None cost to me for shipment. You can't get any better service than that !

I love Mouser

I love Mouser.
I was in the initial stages of building a kit, and not getting any oscillation in the VFO. I was trying to trouble shoot the problem, when the leads from my power source (alligator clips) crossed...after the fourth of July ended, I hooked it back up to the battery, unfortunately, plus to minus, and visa versa. I wish I could say I was drunk when I did it, at least then I would have an excuse.
I went onto Mouser, and ordered all the transistors, electrolytic capacitors, and diodes that were probably fried...I could order individual capacitors, diodes, etc, for around 5 cents each...all told, it ran $1.26...What a world!
